I do accept as true with all the ideas you've presented to your post. They are really convincing and can certainly work. Still, the posts are too short for beginners. May just you please extend them a little from subsequent time? Thanks for the post.
It's heartbreaking to read that letter and realize that a girl at the age of 7 can see a clear distinction between the sexes already. Of course similar instances of inequality can be found everywhere, but it somehow seems more horrible to realize that they can feel the divide already. These gender norms are so deeply ingrained in our society that they show up in kids toys. But what is the alternative? I've heard of many stories of people trying to raise their children without gender, to keep it a secret from everyone (sometimes even within the family). They attempt to raise their child wearing both girl and boy clothing, playing with girl and boy toys, and sleeping in a yellow room. But rather then being a fix-all for today's gender discrepancies, it seems more like an experiment that could go horribly wrong. Raising someone without gender would have serious implications on their identity and countless other aspects of life as they grew up. This article describes a lucky boy who has been raised without gender for the sole purpose of defying stereotypes, but is he really going to be better off? I don't think it is gender that should be attacked here, but the way we perceive it and allow the world to strictly define it as being uniform.
